THE COURSE

Structured according to SKVOT’s ‘onoffline school’ philosophy, the course combines webinar-style live classes, interactive sessions to foster active participation, and a 24/7 chat server for ongoing discussions. All classes are recorded, allowing students to rewatch lessons and engage in asynchronous learning. The support materials leverage Figma’s collaboration features, giving students hands-on experience from the start. Assignments encourage teamwork on individual projects, mimicking agency workflows with design critiques and peer reviews.

Over the years, I had the chance to teach more than 130 students. Each new run of the course integrates feedback from participants and updates to Figma, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance. The fifth course cycle began in summer 2025.

WHAT STUDENTS SAY

Anonymous feedback,
post-course

Anonymous feedback, post-course

"It was a very positive experience. The teacher wove in other topics that really helped my work. The handouts and links were super useful, and I liked how the homework was structured like a real project."

"My Figma knowledge has widened a lot. I’m more confident and competent now, got exactly what I expected. The Instructor was knowledgeable, I got answers to my questions even before I asked. Course Admin was pro too."

"The course was well-paced and hands-on, which I really liked. Dénes is really an expert, with great IRL examples. The whole course gave me a solid foundation, diving deeper into tools I barely knew before."

STUDENT PROJECTS

Starting from the second session, students work on a project of their choosing throughout the course of the program, progressing with each new assignment from sketching to final design. Figma prototypes can be launched by clicking the mockups.
